PetDesk: moving 200 pages and 600 CMS entries off WordPress without losing a day or a visitor
PetDesk is a veterinary engagement platform used by thousands of clinics and millions of pet owners. By 2026 the website had become the slowest part of the company.
The problem
Everything marketing wanted to publish went through engineering. A WordPress estate of 200+ static pages with 600+ CMS entries, 50+ HubSpot forms and years of accumulated URL history had turned into a system nobody wanted to touch. The launch date was fixed by a trade show, which meant the migration had exactly one attempt.
What we did
Rebuilt 200+ static pages and 600+ CMS entries from scratch in Framer rather than lifting the old structure across
Built one custom Framer form component to carry 50+ HubSpot forms, with validation, submission logic and tracking
Designed an extensive redirect architecture across the full legacy URL history, treated as the first deliverable rather than the last
Embedded interactive product-guided tours so visitors can explore the product inside the website
Built custom category search and pagination for the blog
Implemented multiple conditional logic systems across pages and reusable components
Structured the whole project so the PetDesk team could keep publishing after handoff
The outcome
200+ pages and 600+ CMS entries live and complete on launch day
Roughly 200K visitors in the first week, with performance and reliability holding
One of the largest Framer builds we have delivered by total page count
Michael Freeman, Chief Marketing Officer at PetDesk: we had ambitious goals with our rebrand, changing to a new CMS technology, and a very strict deadline to go live just before the largest trade show in our industry. I have implemented many new websites during my career, and this was the smoothest launch I have ever experienced.

We had ambitious goals with our rebrand, changing to a new CMS technology (WordPress to Framer), and a very strict deadline to go live (just before the largest trade show in our industry). I've implemented many new websites during my career, and this was the smoothest launch I've ever experienced. Deserve was a great partner and worked like a true extension of our team. I appreciate the speed and expertise they brought to the project.
