DASHBOARD DESIGN

Dashboards where the numbers lead somewhere.

Analytics platforms, security consoles, trading terminals, digital asset infrastructure. The failure mode is always the same: every metric is correct and no user knows what to do next. Deserve designs data-dense product interfaces for teams whose product is the data, and whose competitors all ship the same chart library.

A chart is not an insight, and a dashboard full of them is not a product.

The difference between a reporting tool and a decision tool is whether the interface takes a position. Showing that utilization fell twelve percent is reporting. Showing that a twenty-eight minute increase in average activity drove that fall, and what it cost per unit, is a product.

So we design the hierarchy before the components. What is the one thing this screen exists to tell someone, what has to be visible to support it, and what is a detail that belongs one level down. Everything else, including the visual style, follows from that answer.

Audit

Where the current interface stops short of a decision.

Hierarchy

The claim each screen makes, and the supporting data that earns its place.

Data design

Chart selection, table density, colour logic and thresholds that mean something.

States

Empty, loading, error, permission-denied and every other screen nobody designs.

System

Components, tokens and rules so new views stay consistent.

Handoff

Documented decisions and support while the first views go into production.

Data products we have designed.

Oumla required institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure, tokenization, custody and transfer on one platform for banks. Bahith needed high-performance search made legible in seconds. OpenPay needed subscription analytics a growth team could act on. Dvuln needed a security dashboard with an identity that did not look like everyone else’s.

Oumla

Institutional custody and tokenization infrastructure, designed for banks.

Bahith

Search and discovery designed around the moment a result becomes understandable.

OpenPay

Subscription analytics designed so the numbers drive a decision.

When to invest here

When customers say the product is powerful but hard, when support answers the same question weekly, or when your demo needs a human to narrate it.

When to wait

If the underlying data model is wrong, design will only make the wrong answer more legible. Fix the model first.

Chart-library design

Pick a component library, drop in the metrics, ship. Looks fine, teaches nothing.

Decision-led design

Start from the decision the user has to make, and design backwards from it.

What we take on

Analytics dashboards

Metric hierarchy, comparison views, drill-downs and reporting surfaces.

Data visualization

Chart design and custom visualizations built for the specific dataset.

Admin & console UI

Permissions, configuration and the operational screens that carry real risk.

Design systems

Dense-UI component libraries, tokens and dark mode built properly.

Onboarding

The first session in a complex product, designed as carefully as the marketing page.

Marketing handoff

Product mockups and storytelling assets built from the real interface.

Product powerful but hard to demo?

That is a hierarchy problem, and it is fixable. Show us the screen your sales team always has to explain.
